Talks, poster sessions, and communal buffet lunches – all included in the registration fee – will be held in the historic main building of ETH Zürich, also known as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.
The university, founded in 1855, is conveniently located in Zürich's city center. More than 17,000 students from over 100 different countries are currently enrolled at ETH, 3,800 of whom are doctoral students.
The conference banquet on Thursday, June 19 will take place at Zunfthaus zur Meisen, a legendary Zürich banquet hall housed in a 1757 palace overlooking the Limmat River. One banquet ticket is included in the registration fee.
By train, it only takes 10 minutes to reach the city center from Zürich Airport. All trains depart from the Zürich Flughafen (Zürich Airport) station and arrive at Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich Main Station, sometimes listed as Zürich HB).

ETH is a 1km walk (uphill) from Zürich HB. You can also use the city's trams to reach the university or your hotel. Single tickets within the city center are 4.20 CHF, or 2.20 CHF for up to 5 stops. Day passes are 8.40 CHF. View the tram timetable here.
If you prefer to take a taxi from the airport directly to your hotel, the 20- to 30-minute ride costs around 50 CHF.
Zunfthaus zur Meisen is just 1.4km away from ETH. It is a pleasant 15-minute walk.
You can also take the #6 tram between the two locations. The stop closest to ETH is ETH/Universitätsspital, directly in front of the university. The stop closest to Zunfthaus zur Meisen is Paradeplatz, 210m (a 2 minute walk) from the restaurant.
